2.5 hrs per night, 12 weeks

This program is intended for persons starting a small business – either fulltime or part-time.  The course stresses the practical aspects of business start-up and development.  Students will learn to prepare a business plan – inclusive of marketing plans, financial plans, selection of logos and image, and sales fundamentals.  The objective of the course is to leave with a preliminary draft business plan.

Sales for Small Business
2.5 hrs per night, 12 weeks

Enhance your sales skills – review sales fundamentals and move towards more advanced sales programs.  Course will stress follow-up, records management, modern sales techniques, body language, cold calling, direct selling and sales for the service industry.  Students will have a completed sales program to take and use in their business at the end of the course.  Role-playing and group dynamics are part of the program.

Business Image
2.5 hrs per night, 12 weeks

Students starting a business, whether home-based, networking, direct sales, retail etc. will focus on preparing an effective business plan that will assist in obtaining funding etc.  Topics include business concept, financial requirements, market research, image, operations structure, risk management, prospecting, closing, company image, and vision & future goals.  This course stresses a holistic approach to business – balancing work and play.

Women, Finance & Business
2.5 hrs per night, 12 weeks

Obtaining financing for a business is an uphill battle for most women.  This course will assist entrepreneurs in preparing a solid financial plan, developing marketing proposals to financial institutes, areas of alternative business resources, online opportunities.  Topics include personal and business financial assessments; business agenda and goal setting; short-term and long-term vision, finance options, insurance benefits, retirement planning.
